A 2022 Sundance Institute Asian American COLLAB Scholarship Recipient, the series demonstrates college pressure for a first-generation student, interracial relationships, exploring one own's sexuality, cultural and academic identities, as well as the over-glamorized hustle culture.

Ambitious is a 6 episode drama-comedy series that follows an impatient, bold Vietnamese-Cambodian-American girl who navigates her new life as a college-dropout despite her immigrant mother's plans for her. This series dives into college pressure, academic and financial illiteracy, sexual identities, interracial relationships and balancing your own expectations with your family’s expectations. Partnering with 3 Left Handed Women and working with El Ride Productions, Ambitious was accepted into the 2022 Sundance & TAAF Fellowship and also got awarded with a $25,000 grant from Independent Public Media Foundation in November 2022. Soon after, the Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia became Ambitious LLC's fiscal sponsor.
