Originally performed at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, these two Shakespearean plays were merged together in one, modern Washington, DC world inside Rutger's Levin Theatre's black box.

Although not immediately compatible plays, the Mason Gross acting students of Rutgers University performed Julius Caesar as the play during As You Like It's wedding celebration. Initially performed at the Globe Theatre with a traditionally sparse set, my co-designer and I were tasked with transferring the production and creating a new world for it, all while honoring Shakespeare's historic playhouse.
